Day 0:
Pick up DY, Chris and Potato around 11:30pm
and gathered at Marco’s house the day before departure. It was really that cool
because I got insomnia again and I couldn’t sleep for the whole night.
Day 1:
Everyone woke up at the right side of bed
except for me. Perhaps! Get prepared around 7am and we are ready to go. Of
course we went breakfast at any random Bah Kut Teh shop as usual, buy some
flesh and pack up all those steamboat stuffs and here we go.
At first we are hoping there’s around 8 to
10 people will go with us in our gang but unfortunately 5 of us went there when
others did not get our invitation I guess. Thanks to Marco’s mom, we got a
Honda to drive instead of driving Marco and mine car, two compact looks great
but the cost sounds even better!
Somehow I felt damn tired in the car that
day because I was fitted at the rear seat with Chris and Potato, it cause my
butt got no air to breath and not even a chance to take a move. HAHA! We arrive
at Ringlet around 12pm at the noon and went to waterfall for some refreshment,
then heading to our apartment located at Tanah Rata.
Speaking about Tanah Rata, we actually
stuck in a massive jam for an hour just for approximately 2.5 miles before
reaching. Damn it. But yea we made it around 1:20pm at the noon.
Tadaa.. Thanks to KS for the contact, the
apartment we rented was really quiet, value for the money and of course,
jungly!! This is what a Highlands should be, get rid of those city noises and
combine with cold climate and greens. I LOVE IT.
When everything is settled down, the boys
went out for lunch somewhere near to the apartment as the jam was still not
clear yet, and some nice market shopping and bought three pack of large vege
and corn with only $13 (For 8 pax).
Next, our ‘big boss’ just sat down and
watch his TV show while we are getting ready for our steamboat, wash dishes and
start boiling soup when we all got back home. And there goes another day, after
doing cleaning and showering, it’s already 1am in the morning again, pokers,
alcohol and non-alcohol drinks later on, there’s 2am and I went bed after that,
I can slightly hear some noise outside but I don’t even give a damn on it.
HAHA.
Day 2:
The weird thing was, my mind stays awake
while I sleep but when I open my eyes, it’s almost 6am in the morning, and
there goes, another sleepless night! After few moments later when I tried to
sleep, I was again awake by Potato’s snoring and that lead me to move to
another room which no one sleeps there. Somehow 8am came, ‘fuck it just wake up
and watch AFC Channel’ goes into my mind and gotten up to shower and clean up
the house.
Occasionally, Marco woke up at 10am and
this is really one weird phenomenon that I ever seen. I was expecting the
others will be ready when M is still sleeping but I was wrong. HAHA!
Hello Brinchang! It’s been 5 years I never
been here and the cactus valley is now free entrance, things changed, some
scenery memories recalled, the same smell, fresh air. After spending time
walking around, we drove downhill to look for strawberry farm, and yes there’s
one strawberry park that sells no strawberry by the way, it made the people who
wanted to buy strawberry at first decided to leave.
After leaving the park, we reached BOH tea
factory and have a chill over there. I love the view up there especially when
those tea leafs were ready to harvest and covered by rain drops.
Seriously, we spent most of our time on
traffic jams and when it’s around 4pm in the noon, we went back to Brinchang
and do things that should be done in Cameron, PASAR MALAM, it looks almost the
same when I came in years back.
Hmm. Bought one whole chicken and other
stuffs for dinner and went back to apartment, and it’s really amazing that we
actually reached home around 7pm and had our dinner, cleaning and took quick
shower and start their war by playing poker in the living, once again...
Day 3:
Surprisingly, everyone went bed around 1am
and woke up around 8am in the morning just because we need to pack up all our
stuffs and ready to check out.
When everyone finished packing, we left the
apartment and went Brinchang and left Cameron after that. I drove Marco’s Honda
when we are going back and it was really awesome, compare to the car I’m
driving, I really like the sound of the engine and the handling. All the way
from Brinchang until KL, I can feel how nice the car moves, how stable it is
and the pick up is better than a normal 1.5l, the car can go up to 170km/h with
full car boot and 5 passengers. I was amazed about the car that won’t shake too
much when we reach that speed.
At last.
Home, sweet home.
